ABOUT US

Music & stationery

Hymns, recorded tracks, a live singer or a piper — and an order of service printed here, proofed by you before it goes to press.

Crematoria and most churches can play almost any commercial recording through their own system, and we book the music with them so you do not have to. Bring us a list, a playlist or simply the names of the songs.

Hymns can be sung to a recorded organ where there is no organist, and we can arrange an organist or a piper. Many families choose one piece for entering, one for reflection during the service and one as everyone leaves.

Music plays a key role in funerals, and today’s digital world makes it easy to incorporate a range of musical choices. At CT Butterfields, a trusted funeral directors in Swinton, Rotherham, we can arrange everything from a lone piper to classical organ music. Most churches have equipment for music playback, and crematoria offer organ and digital music systems, allowing families to select meaningful songs.

We provide a standard in-house design for an order of service, but can also create bespoke designs to reflect the personality of your loved one. These custom designs are a beautiful keepsake for family and friends to remember them by.
