TYPES OF FUNERAL

Arranging a funeral

What happens when you sit down with us, what we will need, and the decisions you will be asked to make — set out in advance so nothing comes as a surprise.

An arrangement meeting usually takes an hour or two. It can be at our Swinton office, or at your own home if that is easier. There is no charge, and no obligation to decide anything on the day.

We will go through the shape of the funeral, the date and venue, the coffin, cars, flowers and notices. Costs are written down as we go, so you can see the running total at every point rather than at the end.
